  Annual Ox Roast

The Ox Roast is sponsored each year by the Mesopotamia Volunteer Firemens Association.

The Ox Roast is held the first weekend of each July, right in the center of Mespo's town square, at the intersection of State Routes 534 and 87.

In addition to delicious barbequed and plain roast beef sandwiches, there will be over 150 antique dealers and flea market vendors.

Events begin at 10:00 a.m. each day, and continue to 10:00 p.m., except on the 4th of July which ends at 3:00 p.m.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND FIREWORKS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

Admission is free.   Parking is available at the fire station, just East of the town square.

Volunteers are always welcome.   Please visit www.MespoFire.com for information from their website.
